GLEEB> hotbar skins
Have you ever noticed that there are never any Monkee "skins"? None for Yahoo, or ICQ, or Internet Explorer, or anything like that. In fact, there are very few Beatles ones, too. Well, since I got bored one night and tired of the lack of such skins, I decided to make some on my own. The HTML for the actual Hotbar skin gallery doesn't work on this page, so I had to come up with my own method:
1) Go to www.hotbar.com and download the Hotbar utility. This should only take a few minutes.
2) Come back here and check out the skins.
3) When you see one (or several) that you want, right-click on the picture and use the command "save as." Save the file as a BMP -- it must be a BMP to work in IE -- in your Hotbar directory. The default is C:\Program Files\Hotbar. You may have changed it manually during installation.
4) Open up Internet Explorer and go back to hotbar.com. Then click into your personal skin collection. The skin(s) you picked from the site should be there as options!
Hotbar doesn't work on AOL, only on Internet Explorer and Netscape. Sorry. And now for the skins...
